Glasstec 2002: Gemco Furnaces B.V. acquires temperal engineering Ltd.

On October 1st final agreement was reached between the two companies to join forces and strengthen their position in serving customers worldwide.
Gemco Furnaces will improve its position in the UK market for lehrs and furnaces for the Glass and Display manufacturing, as well as increase the worldwide service capability. Through this acquisition it is possible to rely on the experience that Temperal has with installation, maintenance and refurbishment.
The joining up with Gemco allows Temperal to take a further step in their growth with a back-up in technical know-how for process and design and worldwide experience of Gemco. It will also enlarge their market to world wide possibilities for supply of second-hand, refurbished lehrs. Temperal will be renamed to Gemco Furnaces UK while the management will remain in its position.
