Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics, Composites Group: a new marketing and sales organisation

Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics (SGTF) is gradually building up its organisation around three sectors of activity: Industrial, Construction, and Composites. The Composites activity now has a worldwide marketing management team, whose goal is to consolidate its position as leader. This marketing organisation brings together three groups of specialists:

- people responsible for the monitoring of certain markets worldwide: wind turbine energy, carbon reinforcements, and textile fabrics for composite reinforcements;

- marketing managers for each continent;

- product experts based on each continent, responsible for offering the customers top level technical assistance, identifying new requirements, and developing new products, in conjunction with SGTF's plants.

Moreover, this Composites activity entrusts the sale of its products to Saint-Gobain Vetrotex on every continent, in order to make the most of its sales network.

This new marketing and sales organisation will optimise the commercial synergies of the Saint-Gobain Vetrotex and SGTF activities, by offering a range of products that is unequalled on the composite reinforcements market, through a single network.

With industrial bases spread over every continent, the goal of Saint-Gobain
Technical Fabrics, Composites Group, is the optimisation of its products/services package and the development of new applications.
