Aggressive growth plans underway at Entegris with hiring of new chief business development officer

Entegris, Inc., the materials integrity management company, today named former U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray vice president, Gregory Graves, to the position of chief business development officer. In this new role, Graves’ responsibility will include the development of business opportunities in new markets; management of all mergers and acquisitions; and the implementation of Entegris’ strategic growth plans. Graves assumes this position immediately and will report into Jim Dauwalter, Entegris' chief executive officer.

"Inviting Greg to join team Entegris is part of our long-term strategy to continue the growth of this organization,” said Dauwalter. “Despite the challenging economic and industry environment that we’ve experienced in the last year, Entegris is moving forward with our investment in people, new products and new business opportunities. The new chief business development officer will help us serve and grow our current markets and diversify into new markets faster. I am confident that Greg has the experience and drive to make that happen."

Graves has over 12 years of experience in investment banking and corporate development across a wide range of industries. His experience includes his most recent position as vice president at U. S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, as well as a variety of roles in middle market mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Graves’ background also includes his position as the director of business development for the Pillsbury Company, where he participated in the development of international business growth plans while also identifying acquisition candidates, executing acquisitions and divesting non-core assets.

“I have had the opportunity to work with Entegris with my position at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray for the past three years and have found the organization to be smart, innovative, technologically advanced and highly ethical,” said Graves. “I am proud to be a part of such a high caliber executive team and look forward to having a hand in the growth of this impressive company.”

Graves is a certified public accountant with a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Alabama. He currently lives in Edina, Minn.
