Auto Body & Glass Adds Colorado Springs Repair Center

ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a Minneapolis-based damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the opening of their second repair center in Colorado Springs. This newly constructed facility, located at 5750 East Woodmen Road, brings the total number of ABRA repair centers to ninety-three in eleven states.

“ABRA has been operating in Colorado since late 1997 when we started with two acquired repair centers,” stated Tim Adelmann, ABRA’s Executive Vice President. “Throughout this time we have developed close relationships with our insurance partners and their insureds, which has led to ABRA now owning and operating fourteen centers in the Denver and Colorado Springs markets. ABRA is committed to expansion in Colorado, and this location will continue to provide our customers with the best possible collision repair experience.”

ABRA has named John Whitaker as General Manager of ABRA-Colorado Springs North. Whitaker joined ABRA in 2001 as a Customer Service Rep for ABRA-Littleton. Since that time he has been promoted to Customer Service Manager, and most recently served as Production Manager at ABRA-Highlands Ranch.

“We chose this location because of the exploding population growth in the Colorado Springs area,” Adelmann continued. “Our insurance partners and ABRA recognized the need to offer excellent collision repair service to these residents. The entire ABRA-Colorado team is extremely excited about the opening of ABRA’s newest repair center, and look forward to providing the highest quality repairs and customer service.”

When fully staffed, ABRA-Colorado Springs North will employ fifteen full-time employees.
