Agr International, Inc. will be exhibiting at Glasstec 2008, Hall 12, Stand C50. An array of Agr products for the quality management and testing of glass containers will be featured at this year’s show.

Featured Products:

 - Agr’s newest offering for the quality control of glass containers, the OmniLab™, is a complete automated laboratory concept that incorporates two of Agr’s powerful sampling machines, the Dimensional Sampling Gauge and the Sampling Pressure Tester, to perform consistent, reliable dimensional measurements and internal pressure strength testing in one location, without operator intervention. As part of this system, the Dimensional Sampling Gauge provides automated, repeatable and comprehensive measurement of critical dimensions including weight, push up and ID and offers a modular approach, allowing for measurement of a wide range of container shapes and sizes. This system can work unattended to perform a number of critical dimensional measurements, offering a cost-effective alternative to the tedious hand measurement of bottles. The Sampling Pressure Tester performs internal pressure measurements and provides consistent, reliable testing results that are documented, cavity correlated and presented together with measurements from the Dimensional Sampling Gauge.

 - The Multi*Star®, a high-speed, multi-function inspection station that is designed to inspect and qualify glass containers for random and process-related defects and provide pertinent cavity-correlated data for process performance management. This system incorporates a host of vital quality evaluations in one compact unit including check detection, finish tolerance variations and leaks due to flaws in the seal surface.

 - Agr’s complete line of coating measurement systems, including the Finish Coating Measurement System, Hot End Coating Measurement System and the latest release, the Seal Surface Coating Measurement System will be displayed. The Seal Surface Coating Measurement System, a high-precision testing instrument, utilizes Agr’s proven visible light coating measurement technology. This all-new instrument is capable of quickly and accurately identifing the amount and consistency of metallic coating applied to the rim or seal surface of a glass container. The system is designed to verify proper coating levels for induction seal applications and identify coating application problems.

In addition to the above products, Agr will also demonstrate the latest in portable thickness measurement devices and will contain a display by Agr Container Labs, the European testing division of American Glass Research that features an array of educational and testing services.

Agr International, Inc. offers a complete line of equipment and services to the glass container industry. As an industry leader for over 70 years, Agr is committed to provide the glass container industry with the most technologically advanced products available for quality control and productivity improvement.
