Veritas sets a new standard in glass container inspection
|
The idea was to design a complete, new inspection system that took advantage of state-of-the-art technologies and meet virtually any inspection challenge. More importantly, these new machines had to be simple, modular and flexible.
The result is the Emhart Glass Veritas series of inspection systems, a complete line of equipment that will revolutionize glass container inspection in the new millennium. Veritas series machines all incorporate the best inspection and handling technologies available in simple, easy to use machines. All modules in the series can be integrated or operate as independent, stand-alone modules. Not only will Veritas become the future standard for glass container inspection, it also is the platform on which all future development of Emhart Glass inspection technology will be based.
This year, Emhart Glass will introduce the first two modules of the Veritas series, the iM and the iB. The Veritas iM is a completely servo-controlled rotary handler that raises starwheel-based inspection to a new level of technology. All movements of the machine can be precisely controlled, ensuring accurate positioning of containers and improved inspection reliability.
