Switchable Glass at Grand Designs Live

 Smart-Tint switchable Glass – now you see it – now you don’t – was shown (and also not shown…) by makers Reflex Glass at Grand Designs Live in London last week.
Based on the hugely successful Channel 4 TV series presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs Live is intended to inspire visitors with the latest home design ideas.
Smart-Tint units switch from opaque to clear in less than a second via a low voltage power pack, allowing crystal clear vision or complete privacy whenever it is needed.
Reflex Glass Managing Director Scott Nicholas told us that not only has the ‘phone been ringing off the hook ever since their appearance at the National Homebuilding & Renovation show recently, but that they have had to employ someone just to handle all the enquiries!
