ET Foundation Announces Board of Trustees

The Extrusion Technology for Aluminum Profiles Foundation (ET Foundation) was created to pursue educational and technical advances in aluminum extrusion as a nonprofit charitable and scientific organization. The foundation is guided, in part, by a Board of Trustees representing the aluminum extrusion community.

Members of the Board of Trustees include Chairman Martin J. Bidwell of Magnode Corporation, and Vice Chairman and Treasurer Robert M. Peacock of Almag Aluminum, Inc. Other Trustees include Douglas Monk of Tredegar Corporation, and John Wayne Parrish, Jr. of The Loxcreen Corporation. Rand A. Baldwin, CAE serves as president and secretary and Jed R. Mandel, partner with Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, serves as legal counsel.

Martin Bidwell is president and COO of Magnode Corporation in Trenton, Ohio, a family?owned extrusion company whose key markets include consumer electronics, automotive, defense, and consumer durables.

Robert M. Peacock is president of Almag Aluminum, Inc. in Brampton, Ontario, the extrusion business started by his father in 1953. After earning degrees in engineering and business administration, he joined the family company in 1984.

Douglas Monk is president of Tredegar Corporation in Richmond, Va., the parent company of The William L. Bonnell Company, an aluminum extrusion and finishing company in Newnan, Ga.

John Wayne Parrish, Jr. is president and CEO of The Loxcreen Company, Inc., a family?owned aluminum and vinyl extruder in West Columbia, S.C. Loxcreen manufactures fenestration products with plants across the United States serving the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Rand A. Baldwin, CAE, is an ex?officio member of the board serving as president and secretary. Baldwin also serves as the Aluminum Extruders Council's (AEC) president, holding that position since 2000.

Serving as legal counsel for the ET Foundation is Jed R. Mandel, partner in the Chicago, Ill., law firm of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, where he heads the firm's trade and professional association practice.
