Dow Corning Names Doug Kempf Construction Industry AETS Manager

Dow Corning Corporation has named Doug Kempf as Construction Application Engineering & Technical Services (AETS) Manager effective May 1, 2008. Kempf will provide leadership to the group responsible for managing the day-to-day technical activities required to support Dow Corning’s participation in various construction markets within North and South America. “Doug’s knowledge of engineering and marketing give him a unique ability to exceed customer expectations,” said John E. Church, Dow Corning Construction Industry Commercial Director. “We’re very excited to welcome him to this new role.”

Kempf joined Dow Corning as a co-op student in the 1980s while attending high school in Midland, and continued to work for the company while attending
Michigan State University. Upon graduation, he worked as an engineer at Dow Corning’s Elizabethtown, Kentucky facility. In 1996, Kempf became the Southwest regional AETS resource within Dow Corning Construction Industry, relocating to Southern California. He returned to Midland in 2000, where he has held a variety of marketing positions.
