With comments like “best product I have seen today”, and “this is just simply amazing”, heard from some of the visitors to the Smart-Tint stand at the NEC, Reflex Glass says that the National Homebuilding & Renovating show was a massive success.

Reflex Glass, a long-time exhibitor at Glassex, due to a clash of dates, chose this year to attend the NHB&R show instead.

An almost breathless Scott Nicholas, Managing Director of Reflex Glass, says, “The show could have stayed open until 8pm every day. It was that busy. Even at 5pm there were still thousands of people milling about in Hall 5, the largest hall in the NEC. Which is where the show needed to be, with over 50,000 visitors!

“Many big international companies like Velux and Brett Martin had large stands with amazing products. The NEC show brought in so many leads we are now deciding whether or not to do the southern show at Excel in London as we are not sure we’ll be able to handle them all.”

On the second day, Radio WM FM did a live link up to the NEC and a presenter held an interview with Scott, commenting that the interest in switchable glass was simply amazing, it’s just a ‘must have’ product for many people after they see first-hand a glass unit switch from clear to opaque in under a second flat.

Reflex Glass also did many trade deals with Bi- Folding door manufacturers, so expect to see the Smart-Tint products on many window and door systems companies stands in the future!
