Within the range of portable machines made by VITRODODI INT. CO. SPA (Tools Division), the MD108 Portable drilling machine has catched much interest. Its main characteristics are the stainless steel basis and drill-bit holder, and the tool down-grade rack system allowing a higher drilling precision. It is equipped with two-speed motor, can drill up to 24-mm thick glass, and bore ranges from Ø 3 to Ø 100 mm. Also available with Habit fitting.

Today , the new model with suction cups is also in production.

The VITRODODI EMPIRE automatic vertical washing machines are equipped with 6 brushes and one rinse section, besides one or two couples of blowers for drying.

The available heights range from 1600 to 3300 mm., whereas the washable thicknesses in the S series (fixed) range from 3 to 12 mm. , and from 3 to 40 mm. in the JUMBO 40 R series (adjustable).

A detecting system of the coated surface makes the first two front brushes move pneumatically on the coming up of LOW-E glass, so as to have it washed off only by the third brush with soft bristles.

The machines work in automatic cycle only in the presence of glass, thus considerably reducing consumptions and noise.

The loading and unloading conveyors can be in 1700 or 2500-mm modules, and can have neon lamps for washing inspection.

Of course, the washing machine is likely to be connected in line upstream or downstream with any other machine.



MIRROR LINE is the new series of horizontal washing machines, carried out on the basis of all the experience and knowledge gathered in producing over 1000 MODULO washers since 1980 up to today.

The series consists of:
- MIRROR COMPACT with 4 brushes, 1300 and 1600 mm wide
- MIRROR ONE with 6 brushes, 1300 to 2200 mm wide
- MIRROR TOP ONE with 6 brushes, 2000 to 3300 mm wide

All the machines lift up to 500 mm for maintenance, and can wash 3 to 50 mm thicknesses.

Each brush has got its own motorization, the steel rolls covered with vulcanized and rectified rubber are driven by bevel gear pairs: therefore, no more belts or chains.

The tanks, stainless steel, on wheels, can easily be pulled out from the wished side.

Not only are all the parts in contact with water in stainless steel, but also all the outside protecting crankcases are stainless steel, MIRROR-LIKE (hence the series’s name).

The machines have got a fully automatic system and only work in the presence of glass, thus considerably reducing consumptions and noise.

Besides, a whole series of innovations is being tested and will be presented at the next GLASSTEC show in Duesseldorf, to make more and more exclusive and efficient the VITRODODI MIRROR horizontal washer series.
