Dow Corning on 3 March, 2008 launched the interactive Molykote® Energy Savings Calculator, an easy-to-use, online tool that can help plant managers and industrial maintenance engineers manage rising energy prices and carbon dioxide emissions by realizing the significant energy and cost savings available through lubrication best practices.

Improper lubrication creates drag and friction, wasting money and damaging equipment. Correct lubrication strategies improve reliability, can help avoid costly repairs and save energy to reduce harmful CO2 emissions.
