Orders from ArcelorMittal and Japanese FPD glass manufacturer

ISRA VISION AG (ISIN: DE 0005488100), one of the top five suppliers of industrial image processing globally. ISRA, the world market leader for surfaceinspection systems, has won strategic contracts in both the Metal and FPD Glass business units. In the USA, ArcelorMittal is purchasing two additional inspection solutions from ISRA. In Asia, ISRA has won a follow-up order for an FPD glass inspection system from a Japanese manufacturer.

The Metal business unit is the largest in the ISRA group. In this sector, the company is the uncontested world market leader. This most recent block order from the largest steel producer in the world, ArcelorMittal, serves to emphasize ISRA’s leading technological position. ArcelorMittal is expanding its inspection infrastructure with the systems, using them to optimize and precisely control the processes at the Burns Harbor factory.

The FPD Glass business unit is one of the strategic sectors for ISRA’s expansion. The market for flat panel display glass (FPD) is growing at around 20 to 25 percent annually, which makes it one of the most dynamically expanding branches worldwide. This most recent follow-up order from Japan is further proof of the superior technology and excellent service and support that ISRA offers. This order will also serve to significantly strengthen ISRA’s market position in Japan. “Following the collaboration with NAKAN that we announced in February, this most recent order provides further proof of our highperformance inspection solutions in this dynamically growing market," commented Enis Ersü, Chairman of the Board of ISRA VISION AG. “I am optimistic that we will be announcing additional orders in just a few months.”
