Sternfenster Chooses Super Spacer

Super Fabricator Sternfenster has chosen Edgetech as its preferred supplier of Warm Edge Technology to propel it to the forefront of Window Energy Ratings offering B as standard. "For our 34 year history we have gone the extra mile for customers to give them the best product and service," explains Mike Parczuk, Managing Director of Sternfenster. "We've achieved this by offering high specification products and maintaining close working relationships with our major suppliers to stay ahead of market trends. We looked at different warm edge spacers to further enhance our product offering and felt that Super Spacer offered us the most advantages. And with its exclusive new Super Spacer Dealership it can also help us increase output and further improve quality whilst making us more efficient. This latest investment has also enabled us to be the first major fabricator offering a cost effective B rated window as standard. Add to this the product advantages such as the 20 year warranty and excellent thermal performance and it was an easy decision."

"It says a lot about the way the market is moving when super fabricators like Sternfenster switch to Super Spacer," adds Andy Jones, Managing Director of Edgetech UK. "Times are changing and to stay ahead companies are investing to differentiate themselves from the competition. It's these companies that are continuing to drive the market forward and enjoying increased sales and profits as a result."

"We opted to use the For.El fully automated Super Spacer applicator to maximise the productivity benefits," continues Mike. "The sealed unit line features real time gas filling and is the only one like it in the UK to feature quality control cameras along the production line allowing us complete control over glass quality and giving us a full shape processing capability.

"Sternfenster was established in 1974 and has grown its business to a group turnover of 13 million by establishing long term relationships and ensuring it exceeds customers' expectations. We're aiming to switch all of our production to Super Spacer by the middle of the year."
