Glass America Joins the National Glass Association

National Glass AssociationChicago, IL – Glass America, one of the largest independently-owned automobile glass replacement and repair companies in the country, has joined forces with NGA, the National Glass Association. Founded in 1948, the NGA represents nearly 4,000 member companies and locations. Their mission is to provide information and education, as well as promote quality workmanship, ethics, and safety in the architectural, automotive and window and door glass industries.

“The NGA promotes many of the standards we encourage here at Glass America.  Being a proud member of NGA means that we are committed to superior standards and education in the auto-glass replacement industry,” said David Rohlfing, president of Glass America. “Through the NGA’s online training and certification programs, we have the opportunity to utilize a number of tools for Glass America which will help to ensure that our Auto Glass Technicians continually improve their technical skills.     The NGA also provides a consumer awareness program stressing the need for the safe installation of auto glass.  We applaud the NGA for their work to educate consumers of the importance of auto glass in protecting them in case of an accident, with the goal of raising the standards of installations for auto glass repair and replacement.”

“The NGA is pleased to have Glass America as a member and we look forward to working with them in the future," said Philip J. James, NGA President and CEO.
