Important changes in the SORG organisation
|
 As part of the on-going transition of the Company management from the 4th to the 5th generation of the SORG family, the senior partners Helmut and Karl Heinz Sorg have withdrawn von active involvement in sales. This has resulted in some changes in the Sales Management structure.
In addition to his duties as Joint Managing Director of the Company Alexander Sorg has also assumed responsibility for Sales in Europe, the Indian sub-continent, South East Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Josef Scherg becomes Sales Director responsible for Russia, the States of the former Soviet Union, South-East Europe and the Middle East. He also has overall responsibility for the worldwide sales of the Emhart Glass Forehearth products that are now supplied by SORG.
Ali Tarkian moves to the position of Sales Manager Middle East previously held by Josef Scherg. Ali, who has been with SORG since 1989, already knows the area very well, and is the perfect choice to continue the excellent work done by Josef over many years.
Andreas Schneck joins the Sales Team as Sales Manager Europe. He will be working alongside Benno Krottenthaler serving SORG customers in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe, and the USA, allowing Benno to concentrate on the German-speaking countries.
