DFI Expands Operatos In Cental And Eastern Europe

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced today the execution of a sales representation agreement with NanoTrade, a progressive and reputable Czech Republic with a primordial focus at bringing to market the most innovative and efficient nano materials. Specializing in products that provide overall surface protective effects, Nano Trade will introduce Diamon-Fusion® in Central and Eastern Europe and will serve as DFI’s operations base in Eastern Europe assisting in DFI’s aggressive expansion plans in the EU.

NanoTrade is a founding member of The Czech Nanotechnology Cluster, an institution co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, aimed at building strong groups of closely cooperating nano-product suppliers using nanotechnologies in their products. The Czech Nanotechnology Cluster strives to identify and support the potential for cooperation in the use of nanotechnologies among scientific and research institutes and businesses. In addition, the Czech Nanotechnology Cluster is instrumental in building a knowledge-based society using and marketing high-value-added operations. NanoTrade has a network of R&D collaborations in the Czech Rep., Austria, Germany, Poland, Great Britain and current business operations throughout Eastern EU.

Guillermo Seta, Executive Director of DFI Global Operations, explained, “By partnering with NanoTrade we open up an entirely new marketplace in Europe. We are pleased to have NanoTrade representing our products in this expanding region and anticipate continued growth with all our upcoming products in our R&D portfolio”.

“We are thrilled about the addition of DFI nanotechnology products to the companies we represent in Eastern Europe, commented Jiri Oborny, managing director of Nano Trade. “DFI is the perfect complement to the quality products we market all across the region and with our solid expansion strategy we plan to aggressively promote new and existing DFI products to this untapped marketplace.”

DFI’s flagship Diamon-Fusion® patented nano-coating is distributed to highly reputable companies on a global basis, including industry leaders DuPont, ALCOA, MOEN, Curvet (Italy), Cricursa (Spain), Prelco Group (Canada), Cristacurva (Mexico), among many others.

DFI Nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon-Fusion® provides, in chemical terms, a ‘cross-linked’, ‘branched’ and ‘capped’ optically clear nano-film along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
