DuPont: Mobile celebrates a safety record
|
 Congratulations to DuPont Crop Protection Products' employees at the Mobile, Alabama, site for going more than 585 days without an on-the-job, event-related injury. This is a new site record, surpassing the previous milestone of 584 days set in October 2000. The Mobile site also is approaching 6,000 days without a lost workday injury, seven years without a serious environmental incident and 900 days without an off-the-job injury.
"Good safety is good business," said Plant Manager Scott Gray. "Achieving and sustaining zero injuries and incidents is a result of every individual keeping their mind and spirit focused on safety and supporting each other as we execute our daily tasks. When no one gets hurt, we each can spend 100 percent of our work time focused on our customers and 100 percent of our pleasure time enjoying our family and friends."
