Profilglass: A new spacer bar wrapped in a PVC coating

 At Vitrum 2001 Profilglass will present its usual wide range of profiles and accessories focusing on the new selection of coloured spacer bar being the result of a polyester painting applied on top of clear anodized spacer bar; this product gives much better guarantees of adhesion and colour resistance to the UV rays compared with the obsolete coloured anodised spacer bar.
Brand new product which completes this colours range is the spacer bar wrapped in a PVC coating which offers several woodgrain finishes besides the traditional standard colours.
The most important feature of this product is that it also has warm-edge properties and can therefore combine aestetichal requirements with much improved technical performances.

Profilglass is world leader in the production of aluminium spacer bars and decorative profiles for insulating glass units. Founded in 1982 it counts now 185 employees and operates in a covered area of 40.000 m2. The company exports 90% of its production in 75 countries of the world.
Thank to the new continuous casting plant (which allows Profilglass to produce in-house its own aluminium starting from ingots or T-bars), to the rolling mill, slitting lines and the twenty roll-forming machines Profilglass produces more than 300.000.000 linear metres per year in more than 200 different sizes and in a very good quality.
