DuPont employees' children win scholarships
|
The college-bound children of DuPont employees recently won three of the 11 scholarships awarded this year by the Drug, Chemical and Allied Trades Association (DCAT).
This year's winners include Matthew Chou, son of Richard Chou in DuPont Packaging and Industrial Polymers; Sheena Pakanati, daughter of Sreekala Pakanati in DuPont Legal; and Jocelyn Trigg, daughter of Hastings Trigg, Jr. in DuPont Legal. This year's recipients were chosen from a pool of approximately 400 applicants.
The scholarships recognize outstanding academic achievements, as well as significant leadership skills. Winners receive a four-year scholarship grant totaling USD 4,000.
Because DuPont is a member of DCAT, children of full-time employees are eligible for the scholarship program. Students must be graduating high school seniors who have been accepted by or are anticipating entry the next year into an accredited U.S. college or university.
