Philippines: Asahi Glass Continues Expansion

Asahi Glass Company Ltd. (AGC) of Japan has committed to continue expanding the capacity of its local unit’s solar glass cover plant up to 2010 to fully meet the demands of the region’s demand being its regional export hub for solar panels.
This was bared by Trade and Industry Secretary Peter B. Favila after accompanying AGC chairman Shinya Ishizu in Malacañang for a courtesy call to President Gloria Arroyo.
