Bystronic: Vitrum 2007 Preview

 Manufacturing laminated safety glass
The Bystronic glass Group booth at Vitrum in Milan will focus particularly on “Production of Laminated Safety Glass.” Bystronic’s smart´lamiline represents a versatile entry solution that can be used to produce both standard and special laminated glass.
The compact, space-saving plant comes in different sizes and is also available in a U shape. All glass plates are assembled automatically with the highest level of precision, whether for standard inventory dimensions or individual customer requirements. The laminating process is supported by high-performance presses and a combined infrared and convection heater. This ensures high-quality production results in LSG manufacturing.
Handling devices
Vacuum lifting systems will also be on display at Vitrum 2007 in the form of Bystronic handling devices. The exhibits presented will cover virtually the entire range for modern glass transport – including the Easy-Lift allround device and the ADK accumulator suction frame.
Insulating glass Manufacturing
Bystronic will also be presenting a completely new development at Vitrum, one that will capture worldwide interest in the area of insulating glass manufacturing. Not only is the machine completely new, the associated customer added value programme will be something totally original for the industry.
