Solvay Sodi To Invest 50M Euro In Bulgaria

Belgian chemical and pharmaceutical group Solvay SA's soda ash joint venture Solvay Sodi says it will increase the annual production capacity at its plant in Devnya, Bulgaria to 1.5 mln metric tonnes from 1.2 mln.
The capacity increase is part of an investment plan costing 50 mln eur over three years.
The project includes a new dense soda ash line which will supply clients in the glass industry and start up during 2008.
