Grand Opening Of Rexam Make Up's Innovation Centre On June 5th
|
 Rexam, the global consumer packaging company, is pleased to announce a Grand Opening celebration of its new Innovation Center in Sussex, Wisconsin, USA, for its global Make Up division, a part of its growing plastics business. The 8500 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is situated adjacent to Rexam's Make-Up division manufacturing plant in Sussex.
The celebration coincides with the 30th anniversary of Rexam-Sussex as a company and will take place on June 5, 2007 at the company’s manufacturing facility.
The Center has been specifically designed to help deepen the collaboration between Rexam and its customers and provide the perfect environment to meet and discuss new ideas. The following are leading-edge characteristics of the new Center:
- The Center features an open environment that encourages creativity through modular private and collaborative spaces.
- Movable tables and walls with integrated writing surfaces allow for flexible and impromptu meetings and design sessions. And portable kiosks have been located throughout the Center to permit instant demonstration and display of Rexam products and technologies used in the production of innovative plastic packaging.
- The Center also houses a library of all Rexam stock Make Up items produced worldwide.
- And a wall of the latest fashion, beauty, lifestyle and business magazines greet visitors upon entry to the Center, complete with a cappuccino bar.
"We are creating an environment where our customers and employees can brainstorm the next evolution of plastic packaging," stated Keith Everson, President of Rexam’s US Make Up division, based in Sussex.
"And since breaking ground last April, our customers have expressed great interest and excitement in joining us here at the Center to create innovations that build their business.”
