DuPont Extends Relationship With BMW Sauber Formula One Racing Team

 DuPont is extending its partnership with the BMW Sauber Formula One racing team and will support the team as an official sponsor. DuPont became a Promotional Partner of the team in May 2006. The company has worked in close collaboration with the team on research and development.
"We are delighted with this extended involvement and with the research exchange we have enjoyed so far with DuPont," said Mario Theissen, director, BMW Motorsport. "We will continue to steadily develop our strategic partnership."
"Through innovation and science, DuPont helps the BMW Sauber Team keep their drivers and team safer, as well as increase the cars' looks and performance," said Ian Hudson, president, DuPont Europe, Middle East & Africa. "Many DuPont materials and applications used throughout the car demonstrate our position as a strong partner to the automotive industry. We are looking forward to extending our cooperation with the BMW Sauber F1 team on many fronts in the future."
