Solutia's Chairman to address Chemical Industry Conference

 Solutia Inc.'s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John C. Hunter, will address a chemical industry investor conference sponsored by Merrill Lynch in New York on Wednesday, Mar. 20, 2002 at 8:45 a.m. ET.
Hunter's presentation will be webcast live on Solutia's investor homepage under the presentations and speeches tab. An audio replay of the presentations will be available at the same web address for five days following the presentation in New York.
