Fenton Art Glass Launches New Division
|
 Fenton Art Glass announced that it will extend its product offerings with new lines of traditional and contemporary designs in glass and non-glass that coordinate with and extend the Fenton brand. The new Fenton "Artware" division will include products sourced from around the world as well as handmade, colored art glass made in the United States by Fenton.
Fenton Artware will be introduced at giftware shows in January 2007, said the company president, George Fenton.
"We are very optimistic about the growth potential of this new family of products," he said. "As a company known for innovation for more than 100 years, our new Artware division is another example of a strategic approach toward success in a very competitive market."
According to Nancy Fenton, director of design, "Fenton Artware will coordinate by style and color to create attractive displays at a variety of price points for the best success at retail." Initial offerings in the Fenton Artware line will be introduced at the January shows with additional designs available later in 2007.
Founded in 1905, the Fenton organization currently includes two other divisions. The Fenton Art Glass division includes traditional and contemporary handmade colored art glass designed and produced in Williamstown, W. Va.
