NGA'S Mvglassclass.com To Sponsor Nascar Busch Series Car In 2007

NASCAR fans will soon see the logo for the National Glass Association (NGA)'s MyGlassClass.com speeding around the track. The association today signed a unique sponsorship agreement with RWI Racing LLC. The deal makes the cutting-edge, on-line training program MyGlassClass.com an associate sponsor of the RWI Racing's NASCAR Busch Series entry for the 2007 season. Steve Wallace, son of NASCAR legend and car owner Rusty Wallace, will drive the No. 66 Dodge.

"We are delighted and honored to be associated with a championship-caliber team like RWI Racing," said NGA President & CEO, Phil James. "Our involvement in the NASCAR Busch Series will help build visibility for MyGlassClass.com and enable us to reach out to more and more people."

Rusty Wallace has been a spokesperson for MyGlassClass.com since its inception in June 2006. "I have been proud to be a part of MyGlassClass.com from the beginning because it is an effective and exciting program with extraordinary goals," Wallace said. "We're happy to play a role in spreading the word to help glass technicians update their skills and keep on the cutting edge of today's latest technologies."

MyGlassClass.com was launched in June and offers dozens of courses specifically designed for both the auto and flat glass industry, ranging from safety instruction to professional development to industry certification. It was developed in partnership with leaders in the glass industry and will be continually updated and enhanced to reflect industry needs.

"We want to take MyGlassClass.com to the people who need it instead of making them try to find us," said NGA Vice President of Association Services, David Walker. "Joining forces with RWI Racing to sponsor a Busch Series car is a perfect way for us to reach people on their own turf."

Walker also addressed the support received from the industry on this initiative, "We are very pleased to have some industry suppliers who are backing us in this sponsorship effort and look forward to others to come in the months ahead."
