First Vietnamese Glass Producer To Export To US

Vneconomy.com reported that the Artglass company has won a contract to export its products to the United States till 2008, becoming the country's first glass producer enters this market.
Director Bui Chi Cong said under the contract, this company will export lights, logos and name plates of basketball teams, colleges and universities in northern US.
The contract marked an important development step of the company as the US had mostly imported glass products from China, Cong said, adding that the company will export products worth 3 million USD in 2006.
