Saint Gobain Begins Production In Calarasi

Saint-Gobain will begin production in a glass factory in Calarasi in November, following a 100 million euro investment, according to Olivier Lluansi, the general director of Saint Gobain Glass Romania.
The official said the new unit will represent a regional production center in Southeastern Europe, for Saint-Gobain."We conducted studies in several countries and from Gobain's point of view the Romanian glass market was considered the most mature," said Lluansi.The official said that half the production will be exported to Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Poland.
