Glasstec 2006
Adelio Lattuada's edging machine model T.L.R.

Our booth (F22 - Pavilion 16) at the Glasstec fair will be particularly rich in novelties and “curiosities” this year.

The first ones concern both new products and technological innovations applied to the already existing models. The second ones regard aspects linked to our “image” instead.

One of the machines we will present in its “new form” is our straight-line edging machine model T.L.R. 16 AV C, equipped with a measurement system for the glass sheets’ length and a small automatic washing machine.

The MLV is a device applicable to our edging machines and it has been conceived in order to measure the glass sheets when entering into the machine for the processing.

The system is composed by a sensor, fitted on the outlet conveyor, that register the glass sheet’s presence, and by a display where it is possible to read its measures.

This simple use and management system has been designed for being an help for the operator in the measurement of the big-sized glass sheets.

Moreover, always on the outlet conveyor of the machine, also our small washing machine model O.T. 300 will be fitted.

During the storage of the glass it can happen to incur the risk of causing scratches on the glass sheets because of the dirt settled during the processing. This problem can be solved thanks to the use of our O.T. 300 that fitted on the outlet conveyor of grinding and bevelling machines allows the achieving of a complete cleaning and drying of the processed edges of the glass sheets.

The one installed on the T.L.R. 16 AV C will be the motorized version, able to automatically position itself according to the glass thickness set on the machine.

We’d like to underline here other two models of our T.L.R. range which is addressed to all glaziers with huge production of glasses with a great thickness.

These models are the T.L.R. 13 AV C SP100 and the T.L.R. 15 AV C SP100, on which we have recently focused our attention, after the increasing demand of machines for jumbo glass sheets and great thicknesses and the new requests for special processing coming from the glass market.

In fact both these models can operate on glasses with a thickness of 100 mm and thanks to important researches and studies we are able - on demand - to adapt their structure so that they can carry a maximum weight of 1.500 Kg instead of the previous 1.100 Kg.
