Solutia's director, worldwide architectural marketing to speak at chemical industry conference

 Solutia Inc.'s (NYSE: SOI) Director, Worldwide Architectural Marketing, Mark Montgomery, will address a chemical industry investor conference sponsored by UBS Warburg on Feb. 27, 2002 at 9:10 a.m. CT.
Montgomery's presentation will be webcast live on Solutia's investor homepage. An audio replay of the presentations will be available at the same web address for five days following the presentation in New Orleans.
