DFI Announces New Improvement and Lifetime Warranty on Diamon-Fusion® Nanocoating

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of the Diamon-Fusion® patented hydrophobic nanotechnology, has recently announced a NEW improvement on its patented nano-coating hand applied version by minimizing application time and offering significant savings on both, applied- labor, and required supplies. DFI also announced a new limited lifetime warranty for its patented flagship coating which will benefit all licensees and end consumers and, according DFI Senior Officials, will “solidify DFI’s leadership when it comes to quality and cost-effectiveness”.

DFI’s new improvement is only one of several more to come according to DFI sources, expected during Q2 2006. DFI’s R&D team is currently working on a wide-range of coatings’ possibilities with far-reaching benefits. DFI’s application methods for its nano-coating Diamon-Fusion® consist of TWO proprietary systems: a manual (hand-applied) system and the ultra-efficient vapor deposition system operated through a specially-engineered vapor chamber; the latter one is capable of producing several thousand square feet of glass surface in a matter of minutes with virtually no applied-labor, no curing time, extremely low consumption of chemicals thus maximizing overall production requirements and providing a very cost-effective coating.

DFI’s flagship Diamon-Fusion® patented nanocoating is being distributed and licensed to highly reputable companies on a global basis, including industry leaders DuPont, ALCOA, MOEN, Vitro America, Curvet (Italy), Cricursa (Spain), Prelco Group (Canada), Cristacurva (Mexico), among many other companies.
Adam Zax, President and CEO of DFI, added: "We've always had great confidence in all our products but we find this is an opportune time to further establish our industry leadership by offering an unmatched lifetime warranty on our proven and patented nanotechnology."

DFI’s nanocoating supplies a full range of enhanced hydrophobic properties to the treated glass surface along with an anti-microbial property by inhibiting or decreasing the growth of mold and bacteria on the treated surface, creating a healthier environment to live in. DFI nanotechnology multi-functional characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic,), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity. DFI’s nanocoating, a patented process, works at nanoscale levels to change the molecular composition of any silica-based surface. Diamon-Fusion® provides a cross-linked, branched, and ‘capped’ coating along with a strong and durable covalent bond.
