Corning Files Restated 2005 Results
|
Glass maker Corning Inc. on Tuesday filed restated financial results, correcting accounting mistakes related to a 2003 asbestos settlement.
Corning said the Securities and Exchange Commission received restated reports for the first three quarters and full-year of 2005, and that the "adjustments to the financial statements are non-cash in nature and had no impact on 2005 reported earnings per share."
