Safti First Names Renee Woodruff as Director of Strategic Alliances

SAFTI FIRST, the nation’s leader in fire rated glazing solutions, has named Renee Woodruff as Director of Strategic Alliances. This announcement was made recently by Kathryn O’Keeffe, Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

“I am very excited about this new position,” says Renee. “I look forward to advancing SAFTI FIRST both as a company and as a brand by meeting the needs of the architectural and building communities through our products and educational programs.”

In her new position, Renee will help drive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sales, identify business opportunities with national distributors, establish key relationships with major glazing contractors and architects, represent SAFTI FIRST on projects commissioned by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and California’s Division of the State Architect (DSA), attend industry-related tradeshows and fulfill speaking engagements.

“Today’s global economy calls for forming and developing strategic alliances within and across industries,” says Kathryn. “This new position specifically serves that purpose, and with Renee’s extensive experience in the construction industry, we believe that this is a huge step in the right direction.”

Renee has 15 years of experience in the construction and building industry. She joined SAFTI FIRST in June 2005 as Western Regional Sales Manager, where she developed strong relationships with architects, specifiers and glaziers nationwide based her ability to exchange accurate and relevant information and her respect for the special demands of putting the right fire-rated glazing in the right place. A licensed contractor and prior owner of a Firestopping Company, Renee currently presents SAFTI FIRST’s AIA registered educational program to architectural and design-build firms across the U.S.
