Deal sealed for glass plant in Chu Lai economic zone
|
A 70ha glass plant with a design capacity of consuming 900-1,000 tonnes of sand a day is to be built in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, according to trade officials in the central province of Quang Nams Tam Hiep District.
The Viet Nam Coal and Mineral Industries (VCMI) Group, the Industrial Development Joint-Stock Company and the Mining Chemicals Company signed an agreement on Thursday to establish the Chu Lai Floating Glass Joint-Stock Company. Under the agreement, they are to contribute 51 per cent, 46 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively, to the companys registered capital. VCMI general director, Doan Van Kien, said the Chu Lai Company is to initiate a feasibility study to define total investment capital now that the agreement has been finalised.
