Italian Glass Manufacturing: Jan-Nov. 2005 Exports Up 9.3.PCT

Italy's glass-manufacturing industry experienced a slight recovery in 2005, glass manufacturers professional association ANFAO announced in an official statement issued today. Between January and November 2005, exports rose 9.3pct compared to the same period of 2004 totalling 1,567 million euro. Sunglasses played a major role in this increase, their exports rising 15.9pct between January and November. Exports of frames dropped just 0.1pct.
