EuropTec Group Announces the Acquisition of Eagle Glass Specialties, Inc.

EuropTec Group, based in Oftringen, Switzerland, today announced its acquisition of Eagle Glass Specialties, Inc giving it a holding presence in the United States and furthering its glass fabrication abilities.
The EuropTec Group expands its extensive capabilities in designing and producing specialty glass products with the integration of Eagle Glass Specialties, Inc. and its high quality etched glass for the display industry as well as its convex glass products for the lighting industry.
Andreas Lauterburg, the owner and CEO of EuropTec Group, says that "we are very excited about establishing our presence in the United States and the future outlook this acquisition brings to our company." Taking over as CEO of Eagle Glass Specialties, Inc. will be Kurt Ruefenacht currently representing EuropTec Group in the United States. "We worked very hard over the last two years to establish EuropTec in the USA, and this move shows our customers our commitment to the US market," says Ruefenacht. Gwen Kohut will remain in place as Executive Vice President/General Manager at Eagle Glass Specialties, Inc. Gwen has been with Eagle Glass Specialties for more than 15 years. She is "very excited about the new opportunities for growth as well as greater coverage in several key industries with the new ownership."
