Oldcastle Glass(R) Acquires Texas Wall Systems, Inc.

Oldcastle Glass has acquired Dallas-based Texas Wall Systems, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance curtain wall systems and engineering services for commercial, institutional and multi-story condominium construction markets.
Texas Wall Systems will become part of Oldcastle Glass' new Engineered Products division which was created by incorporating several Oldcastle Glass companies into one unit. Included in the new division are recently acquired Fulton Windows (Toronto, Ontario), Southwest Aluminum Systems (Chandler, AZ), and Oldcastle Glass Retail Storefronts (Austin, TX). Oldcastle Glass Engineered Products has six operating locations which manufacture a complete line of high-performance fenestration products including architectural-rated operable windows, custom engineered curtain walls, commercial and retail storefronts, and glass doors and related hardware.

This partnership will strengthen our company as we enhance our product offerings, further improve service levels, and bring greater value to our customers," said Larry Long, who will continue to lead Texas Wall Systems as president. Mr. Long has been with the company since shortly after its founding in 1981 and has been instrumental in its development and growth over the past 25 years.
