Santelli Tempered Glass said it will open its first manufacturing plant in Westmoreland County after receiving a $518,000 package from Pennsylvania officials.
Santelli, a start-up company which makes safety glass for the residential window-replacement industry, said it will establish a 25,000-square foot plant in the Monessen Riverfront Industrial Park in Westmoreland County, southeast of Pittsburgh.
The plant is expected to employ at least 40 workers when it reaches full production in three years.
The financial package, given by the Governor's Action Team, includes a $500,000 loan through the Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund and $18,000 in Job Training Assistance.
