Diamond Triumph Auto Glass, Inc. anounces executive management appointments

Diamond Triumph Auto Glass, Inc. announces the appointments of Norman Harris as Chief Executive Officer and Michael Sumsky as President. Ken Levine and Richard Rutta will remain as Co-Chairmen of the Company. Michael Sumsky will also retain his position as Chief Financial Officer.

Ken Levine, Diamond Triumph’s Co-Chairman had the following comments regarding the appointments, “Norm Harris has been an instrumental part of Diamond Triumph’s growth during his nine year tenure with the Company. During this period, Diamond Triumph has grown from a regional automotive glass replacement company to a national player with service center operations in 43 states. Norm has been a key participant in the automotive glass industry for 25 years and I have been personally associated with Norm for over 20 years as a vendor, competitor and as a management teammate. I feel Norm’s reputation within the industry, as well as his integrity and character are exceptional. We are confident that Norm will continue to provide vision and leadership to the Company in his expanded role.”

Ken Levine added the following comments, “Mike Sumsky joined the Company in 1995 as our Chief Financial Officer and had an immediate impact in the development of the infrastructure and platforms to support and accelerate the Company’s expansion. Mike’s professionalism and diverse background have been key influences in helping the Company maintain its entrepreneurial spirit and personal approach during its transition to a national company. Mike has been involved in various facets of the business beyond the traditional responsibilities of a Chief Financial Officer and he will continue to expand upon these other operational responsibilities in his capacity as President.”

Ken Levine concluded with the following, “I speak for both the Company and myself when I say that we are proud of Norm’s and Mike’s accomplishments and contributions to this organization, and most importantly, with the professionalism and character with which they have represented us within the industry.”
