Pellini SpA Casts a Shadow Over the Milanese Exhibition Centre
|
 Pellini SpA has won the contract for the supply of blinds for the new exhibition centre, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas.
The project involved a surface area of 30.000 sqm. of windows that were required to be shaded with roller blinds of exceptional quality, in order to guarantee effective protection from the solar radiation together with improved energy savings.
The high performance Verosol fabric used for the roller blinds was manufactured by the exclusive patented vacuum deposition procedure (“three chambers”), that coats one side of the fabric with aluminium molecules. The result is the optimisation of the blind characteristics to reflect the solar heat and to control the light transmission, giving a decisive contribution to the creation of a pleasant internal environment, which is extremely suited for P.C. work, in accordance with the European regulation VDU (Rule EU 90/170).
