XsunX to Attend 16th Annual Advanced Coatings and Surface Engineering Laboratories Workshop

XsunX, Inc., developer of Power Glass(tm) -- an innovative solar technology that allows glass windows to produce electricity from the power of the sun -- announced today that the Company would be attending the 16th annual workshop sponsored by the Advanced Coatings and Surface Engineering Laboratories (ACSEL) at the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado.

Established in 1994 by Dr. John Moore, a member of the XsunX Scientific Advisory Board and Director of the ACSEL program, the main objective of the ACSEL program is to perform fundamental research in advanced thin films and coating systems, surface engineering, tribology, electronic, optical and semiconductor materials. This research has helped to advance the U.S. thin films, coatings and surface engineering industry. Since its inception, the ACSEL has grown to become a national and international leader in research in advanced coatings, surface engineering, and thin film processing.

Speaking at the workshop will be XsunX's Scientific Advisory Chairman, Dr. Arun Madan. Dr. Madan will be discussing recent advancements achieved by XsunX in the development of large area flexible electronic coatings.

Mr. Tom Djokovich, XsunX's CEO, said, "Under Dr. Madan's guidance the development of our large area flexible solar cells has moved from concept to reality. Attending the workshop gives us an opportunity to collaborate with other experts in the fields of thin films and possibly accelerate our efforts. Over the next quarters we hope to complete the development and integration of scalable manufacturing techniques into our process line and ramp up our business development efforts."
