Vetter re-engineers its Vinyl casement, awning windows

Vetter Windows & Doors, Norcross, Ga., has re-engineered its vinyl casement and vinyl awning windows for state-of-the-art performance, according to Jeff Kibler, brand manager.

"As the use of vinyl windows continues to grow, custom builders and designers are demanding even higher performing vinyl windows with all the aesthetics of premium wood windows," says Kibler. "For nearly two years, Vetter has been re-engineering its vinyl casement and awning windows to take advantage of the latest in vinyl technology."

The frame design of both the casement and awning windows, included in Vetter's ProV™ Window Systems, consists of a fully-welded one-piece frame for added strength and resistance to extreme weather, according to Kibler. This high performing frame combined with multiple weather seals provide a tight barrier against the elements, making the Vetter casement and awning higher performing than most of the vinyl windows on the market, he says.

Exterior/interior color choices include White or Sandtone™.

According to Kibler, other new features include the multi-chambered extrusion which adds strength and superior insulating qualities. The new frame profile for both the casement and awning windows is similar to the detailing of the Vetter wood window design, providing greater visual depth and a richer appearance. The frame depth is 3 1/4".

Standard glass is 3/4" dual-seal insulated. Other options include HiPro4™ argon-filled high performance Low-E glass, Bronze or Gray tints, obscure, tempered or high altitude.

The new ProV casement and awning windows are protected by Vetter's 2/20/25 Craftsmanship Warranty, which provides 25 years on the vinyl frame, 20 years on insulated glass from seal failure and two years on all hardware.
