CompuDyne Products to Help Protect Phoenix Airport; Blast Protection Glass to Be Installed in Control Tower

CompuDyne Corporation, an industry leader in sophisticated security products, integration and technology for the public security markets, announced that it will be supplying window systems containing a thermal aluminum frame with laminated glass for a high level of blast mitigation, or softening of a blast, for the new air traffic control tower and tracking headquarters at the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Arizona.

The project amount is $450,000. CompuDyne's Norshield subsidiary, part of the Company's Attack Protection unit, will be working as a subcontractor for Enclos Corporation. The general contractor and architect for the project is Jacobs, Inc. The airport is owned and operated by the City of Phoenix.

CompuDyne's Attack Protection unit specializes in bullet, blast and attack protection windows and doors for high security requirements. We also supply perimeter alarm systems and security barriers, providing single source solutions for perimeter and building protection.
