Japan's NEC sets sale price for 16 mln shares in Nippon Electric Glass

NEC Corp said it has fixed the sale price of 16 mln shares in its subsidiary Nippon Electric Glass Co Ltd at 2,326 yen per share.
The sale would bring in some 16 bln yen in group pretax profit for NEC, but it would have no impact on its earlier group profit forecast, the company said in a statement.
On October 28, it said it expects to post financial year to March 2005 group net profit of 60 bln yen and pre-tax profit of 135 bln on revenue of 4.9 trln.
