Richard Rodriguez, senior vice president, Global Coating and Performance Resins (C&PG), announced the appointment of Mosongo Moukwa, Ph.

D. as the new vice president of technology for the global coating and performance resins business. Moukwa joins Rodriguez's leadership team announced earlier this year.

Moukwa is responsible for developing and implementing the global technology strategy including research and development, application development and technical service for the Global C&PR business. Moukwa will also work to integrate, develop and exchange global technologies with DIC, Reichhold's parent. He is located at Reichhold's world headquarters and technology center in Research Triangle Park, NC.

"This is a key addition to our management team. Mosongo brings extensive expertise and knowledge in technology management and technology commercialization," said Rodriguez. "He will drive our products and innovations to the next level."

Moukwa was previously vice president of global technology for Johnson Polymer where he was responsible for global technology support including regulatory affairs, health, safety and environment, pilot plant, physical sciences and analytical.

Moukwa holds a PhD from the University de Sherbrooke, Canada, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
