Vetter Windows & Doors, Norcross, Ga., has introduced its new high-performance vinyl windows that meet high structural performance standards of certain areas, especially coastal markets, according to Jeff Kibler, brand manager.
"This new high performance vinyl window line is in response to our customers, particularly in the coastal areas, who have wanted the design and performance of Vetter windows, but are required to build with a higher-performing product to meet local codes," says Kibler.
The new Vetter high-performance vinyl windows meet the performance requirements of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) and the National Window and Door Manufacturers Association (NWDMA) I.S. test level R50.
The high-performance windows are available in select sizes of Vetter's vinyl window line (called ProV) in its single hung, double hung and picture window styles.
Standard features on the new high-performance windows include an exterior color choice of either White or Sandtone™; 3/4" insulated glass; 31/4" frame extrusion; full length sash pull; color match jamb balances; sash locks and screen factory-applied; an integral nail fin on single hung windows and a rigid nail fin on double hung windows.
The performance of all Vetter insulating glass, parts, hardware and materials are guaranteed by the Vetter 2/20/25 Craftsmanship Warranty (2 years on all parts, hardware and materials; 20 years on all insulated glass; and 25 years on all vinyl).
