Hydrogenics Sells Fuel Cell Test Stations to Asahi Glass

Greenlight Power Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hydrogenics Corporation (Nasdaq: HYGS - News; TSX: HYG - News), today announced the sale of two FCATS G50 fuel cell test stations to Asahi Glass Co. Ltd., a leading fuel cell component maker. The stations are expected to be delivered before the end of the year.

"We are particularly pleased to have been selected by Asahi Glass to supply these two test stations," said Pierre Rivard, President and CEO of Hydrogenics Corporation. "Our test business is still a major source of revenues for the Company and the opportunity to add a new customer like Asahi Glass is significant. Our leadership position in fuel cell testing, with over 450 machines installed at over 55 customer sites, has enabled us to establish a core competency and track record for performance. We are excited to share this expertise with our new customer, Asahi Glass."

The FCATS G50 is specifically designed to offer accuracy and reliability for fuel cell testing in low power ranges, at an attractive price. The 'G' Series test stations offer superior reliability and maintainability as a result of thorough in-house testing, selection of high quality components and well-designed accessibility to the test station's internals. Operator efficiency is further enhanced by an optimized graphical user interface and stack interface. In addition, all new test stations are designed to allow customization to meet a client's specific needs.
