ALCOA and DFI reach agreement on Diamon-Fusion® nanocoating

Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive supplier of the Diamon-Fusion® patented nanotechnology, reached a marketing agreement with ALCOA, the world’s leading producer of primary and fabricated aluminum. The Agreement provides ALCOA the capability of applying DFI’s proprietary surface protective coating at Alcoa’s US manufacturing facilities, in certain glass related markets, at a national level. The Agreement also facilitates a dynamic co-marketing synergy between the two companies, reported Senior Officials from both ALCOA and DFI.

“This strategic alliance with ALCOA represents a new milestone for DFI and it solidifies the leadership we have achieved as a developer and supplier of surface protective coatings”, stated Guillermo Seta, DFI’s Vice President and Executive Director of DFI Global Operations.

ALCOA is the world's leading producer of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum and alumina, and is active in all major aspects of the industry. Alcoa serves the aerospace, automotive, packaging, building and construction, commercial transportation and industrial markets. In addition to aluminum products and components, Alcoa also markets consumer brands including Reynolds Wrap® foils and plastic wraps, Alcoa® wheels, and Baco® household wraps. Among its other businesses are vinyl siding, closures, fastening systems, precision castings, and electrical distribution systems for cars and trucks. The company has 120,000 employees in 41 countries and has been a member of the Dow Jones Industrial Average for 45 years and the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes since 2001.
